“We thought you was a toad!”

In the quirky hit, 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?' (2000), Ulysses Everett McGill (George Clooney) and Delmar O’Donnell (Tim Blake Nelson) wake on a riverside to find their friend Pete Hogwallop (John Turturro) missing. His clothes are laid out and a toad hops out of the shirt so they think some “sirens” loved him up and turned him into a toad. They later make this statement when they run across him at a prison outing in a movie theater.
