As the name suggests, the Singapore Sling was first created in Singapore bartender Ngiam Tong Boon, who was working at the Long Bar in the world-famous Raffles Hotel. To make the drink, simply pour angostura bitters, gin, lime juice, heering cherry liqueur, grenadine, cointreau, pineapple juice, and dom bénédictine in a cocktail shaker with ice, give it a good shake, and strain into a highball glass.
