Time to set up your nativity scene. Which cast of characters usually do NOT make the cut?

Being that Christmas celebrates Jesus' birthday, Christian tradition often involves setting up a Nativity Scene. As the tale goes, there was "no room at the inn"; therefore, Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus are often depicted in a stable. Jesus, in the manger, is surrounded by the Three Wise Men (aka Magi), some shepherds, perhaps an angel or two, and an assortment of animals, including camels, a donkey, an ox, etc.
