This structure is going to knock Dubai's Burj Khalifa off its "world's tallest building" pedestal (if it's ever finished, that is). Where is this nascent skyscraper located?

Designed by Chicago’s Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architects — the same studio that designed the Burj Khalifa — the Jeddah Tower will reach 1008 meters, making it the first building to ever pass the one kilometer mark. The 200-floor tower will boast luxury apartments and shops, a Four Seasons Hotel and the highest observatory on the planet. Unfortunately, myriad political and economic issues have delayed the Jeddah Tower's planned 2020 completion date. So, the relatively puny 828-meter Burj Khalifa gets to hold on to its title just a little bit longer.
