This punk rocker and 27 Club member was a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. A traffic accident took his life in 1985.

Dennes Dale "D." Boon, or simply D. Boon, was one third of the punk rock trio Minutemen. He was also the guitarist and vocalist. After his death, the band broke up.
