This pilot flew the Enola Gay and dropped the atomic bomb “Little Boy” on Hiroshima.

Paul Tibbets was one of two pilots to drop atomic bombs on Japan in 1945. Tibbets deployed the first weapon on August 6th, and Charles W. Sweeney dropped “Fat Man” on Nagasaki three days later.
