This pictured premium sedan was introduced in 1951, replacing the Super 8. Rear passengers were treated to such luxuries as foot rests, possible due to its massive 219 inch length. It was produced until 1956.

The Packard Patrician sold well enough, but poor management forced the company out of business by the late 1950s. The car is named after the Ancient Roman ruling class, as opposed to the plebeians.
