This particular pictured car had a former life as a drag racer. It's a 1969, part of the third generation of these compact cars, some of the first "small" cars to be offered by its manufacturer.

Produced from 1962-1979 and again from 1985-1988, this is a beat-up Chevy Nova. It's an urban legend that these cars didn't sell well in Mexico because they are Spanish for "no go", but that's not really true.
