Corcovado, which means "Hunchback" in Brazilian, rises just over 2300 feet, is situated in the Tijuca Forest, a national park. It's just east of the city center, and as such affords amazing views of the skyline below. Rio's skyline is not known for its tall structures, with the Rio Sul Center Tower as its tallest building at 538 feet.
