The A110 berlinette is perhaps Alpine's best car. Its founder wanted to design cars that would win in competitions, just like Ettore Bugatti. The A110 won the 1971 International Manufacturers' Championship with victories in Monte Carlo, San Remo, Acropolis, and ultimately in the Coupe des Alpes.
