Answer Field of Dreams

'Field of Dreams' was originally titled "Shoeless Joe", but test audiences hated the name. They were probably right. "Shoeless" Joe Jackson was a member of the notorious Chicago "Black Sox" who were suspected of throwing the 1919 World Series to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for cash. Jackson maintained his innocence until his death in 1951.
