Classic films such as "Jane Eyre" with Orson Welles, "Dark Passage" with Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart and "Johnny Belinda" with Jane Wyman were what actress Agness Moorhead became known for. She frequently played wise, sympathetic and neurotic characters and was the actress we loved to hate in many of her films. She had a few leading roles but ultimately was a great supporting actress.
