These prints are mostly found on beaches and other landscapes close to water. What animal passed across the beach in this photo?

The penguin feet that left these prints don't freeze because their legs work like a heat exchange system. Basically what happens is that the blood vessels to and from the feet cool the blood from the body as it travels to the feet and heats the blood as it returns to the body. That way the foot get cool blood and the rest of the body gets warm blood.
