These massive dogs are a bizarre mix of cute and intimidating. They are sometimes used to hunt bears, of all things, so they certainly can hold their ground.

This breed's name is Caucasian Ovcharka. You can probably tell that this breed was developed in Russia, which would explain the bear hunting.
