The peak of Cadillac Mountain is highest point of Acadia National Park, and from the summit you can see all of the park and the town of Bar Harbor. What's the altitude up there?

Despite being the tallest point in the park, the summit of Cadillac Mountain is only about 1,500 feet. Because it's not very tall, a hike to the top of this mountain is fairly easy and affords some of the best views in the Eastern United States, particularly at sunrise.
