C418, whose real name is David Rosenfeld, is a sound designer and musician from Germany. He created most of the in-game music, as well as some sound of the sound effect. Outside of Minecraft, he's released several independent albums and created the theme music for a Stanger Things behind-the-scenes spin-off.
