The island was once home to a giant statue of what ancient Egyptian goddess?

Answer Taweret

Taweret, the Egyptian goddess of fertility and birth, has the head of a hippopotamus. Her likeness was built on the island in the form of a giant statue which was later toppled when the Black Rock ship crashed into it. Later, the survivors were only able to find the statue's remaining foot, however in time jumps some saw the full statue standing tall.
