Hilo is located on "The Big Island" of Hawaii, and sits near two dormant volcanoes, Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. Hilo is also home to the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation and the Merrie Monarch Festival, a week-long celebration of ancient and modern hula dancing.
