Producer Garry Marshall drew on real life to create the names of the characters in the series. Instead of "The Fonz," what was Arthur's original nickname that never made it to air?

Answer Mash

Almost all the character were ripped from Marshall's life: his wife went to school with someone named Potsie Weber, and Richie Cunningham was an actual kid who went to their church. But Fonz was originally supposed to be named “Arthur Masciarelli”, which was Garry Marshall’s original last name. "The Mash" just doesn't have the same ring, does it?
