The famous four rings of Audi's logo were meant to symbolize the four car makers that merged to form Audi. Which one of these companies was NOT one of them?

Answer NSU

The four-ring logo came to exist in 1932, when two of August Horch's companies, Horch and Audi, merged with motorcycle manufacturers DKW and Wanderer to form Auto Union, which became known in the pre-war years for its record-breaking Grand Prix race cars. The company went defunct in 1969 when Volkswagen bought what remained of Auto Union and merged it with NSU to form the company that's now known as Audi.
