The driver of the Hemi-powered Blue Max is often listed among the 50 greatest racecar drivers ever. He won a total of 28 national events, four NHRA championships, and a U.S. National victory in 1981. Do you know his name?
Answer Raymond Beadle
From 1979 to 1982, Raymond Beadle was the king of muscle. He drove the Plymouths to victory, almost every time. In 1981, besides the U.S. National Victory, Beadle also won a third IHRA car championship, in the same Plymouth. It was a good year.
