The classic "dun dun" sound heard between scenes in Law & Order is known by what name, according to the sound's creator, Mike Post?

Composer Mike Post created the iconic transition sound for Law & Order, along with much of its original score. The sound, which he calls "The Clang", is, according to him, "actually an amalgamation of 'six or seven' sounds, including the sound made by 500 Japanese men walking across a hardwood floor."
