In 1994, Tarantino was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for his work on Pulp Fiction, winning the latter. While Pulp Fiction received a Best Picture nomination, Tarantino was not recognized as a producer. In 2012, he won another Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Django Unchained.
