Winning acting Oscars two years in a row is almost unheard of. In fact, it's only happened five times in Oscar history, first in 1936 and '37 with Luise Rainer, next 1937 and '38 with Spencer Tracy, then of course 1967 and '68 with Katharine Hepburn, followed by 1976 and '77 with Jason Robards, and lastly in 1993 and '94 with Tom Hanks.
