Joe's Tavern in Shelbyville is owned by the Shelbyville version of Moe, and is just one of the many parallels with its rival to the east. The town, which was apparently once known as Morganville, was founded by Shelbyville Manhattan in 1796, on the foundation that people should be allowed to marry their cousins.
