Seven thirty-something college friends reunite in the wake of their friend's suicide.

Kevin Costner originally played Alex, whose suicide prompts his friends to reconnect, but all of his scenes were cut. Only a shot of his wrists at the funeral home made the film's final cut. Don't feel too bad for him, though; by the end of the '80s, Costner had added 'The Untouchables', 'Bull Durham', and 'Field of Dreams' to his resume.
