When Tom Schlafly and Dan Kopman were looking for a location to house their new brewery, they settled on the former Swift Printing Company building in St. Louis, Missouri. The building was in such bad shape it actually had a cameo as part of the post-apocalyptic scenery in the movie Escape From New York.
