Reaching his arms out to embrace Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redeemer – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World – is an example of what artistic style?

Answer Art deco

The largest art deco-style statue on Earth, Christ the Redeemer stands 98 feet tall atop a 26-foot pedestal at the summit of Corcovado Mountain. His arms stretch nearly as wide as his height, at 92 feet. Christ's outer shell is pieced together with six million soapstone tiles, some with hidden messages written on the back by the workers who built it.
