Playing the wise but gentle femme-fatale in several of Alfred Hitchcock's thrillers opposite such actors as James Stewart and Cary Grant, this beautiful actress later became royalty.

Answer Grace Kelly

Grace Patricia Kelly was born to a prominent Irish father and beautiful German mother, yet developed a refined, silky, uptown Philadelphia way of speaking. She played roles that were clever yet vulnerable, and always had the lead in any film she was in. She was a favorite of Hitchcock and was featured in To Catch a Thief with Cary Grant as well as Rear Window with Jimmy Stewart. After making fewer than a dozen films, Kelly went on to marry Prince Rainier III of Monaco and became known as Princess Grace.
