Originally called Lancaster, what Cornhusker Capital on the Platte River was renamed for a president?

Answer Lincoln

Another capital named after a president, Abraham Lincoln is the namesake of Nebraska's capital...without ever having set foot there. Founded as the village of Lancaster in 1856, the city moved to capital status, stealing the title from Omaha, when Nebraska gained more territory south of the Platte River. Omaha actually named Lancaster "Lincoln" to deter the change, as many were on the side of the Confederacy during the Civil War. Looks like that plan backfired.
