First opened in 1893, the Chateau Frontenac is an historic hotel in Quebec City, currently one of the Fairmont Hotel collection. It was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway company. It was built in the Châteauesque architectural style, which was also used for other Canadian grand railway hotels in other Canadian cities.
