Old Testament God appeared for a moment in the New Testament when He struck these two dead for withholding money from the church.

In chapter 5 of the Acts of the Apostles, God struck down the greedy couple, Ananias and his wife Sapphira, who were members of the early Christian church. Apparently, they lied to the Holy Spirit about money and then suddenly dropped dead. Coincidence?
