Not really a "natural disaster" per se, but it sure confused things. What did God do to disrupt the building of the Tower of Babel?

In Genesis, the people came together to build a tower to heaven. The Tower of Babel was reaching great heights, when the Lord saw it and said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech." He then scattered the people near and far. Well, that oughta do it!
