"Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak is the ultimate sexy/moody love song. Starting with the lyrics "The world was on fire and no one could save me but you" and ends with the even more bleak "Nobody loves no one." It was first released as a single in 1989, but didn't really become a hit until David Lynch featured it in his film Wild At Heart.
