Near the end of the classic "Marge vs. the Monorail" episode, what is Homer referring to when he says "Is there anything they can't do"?

At the end of the episode, when the town's new faulty monorail is running out of control, it's the large oversized donut sitting above the Lard Lad donut shop that finally stops the train. Homer looks out at the giant sculpture and utters "Donuts, is there anything they can't do?" This is still one of the most iconic lines from the series.
