Named for a geological phenomenon, this stunning Canadian Lake sits about 10 miles from the village of Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. What is this lake called?
Answer Moraine Lake
Moraine Lake is one of the most famous lakes in Canada, located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks in Banff National Park at about 6100 feet above sea level. Because it's fed by a glacier, it doesn't really thaw until June, and when it does it taken on an almost otherworldly shade of turquoise blue.
