The Beatles' rejection indirectly resulted in the signing of one of Decca's most successful 1960s acts, The Rolling Stones. Dick Rowe was judging a talent show with George Harrison when Harrison suggested checking out the Stones. Rowe immediately signed the Stones to a contract after seeing them live.
