Answer Berlin

Delivered by U.S. President Ronald Reagan in 1987, his famous "Tear down this wall" speech was directed at the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, regarding the Berlin Wall that separated East and West Berlin. The city had been divided since 1961. When the Iron Curtain fell and the wall was finally torn down in 1991, the city celebrated. To this day, parts of the wall still stand in the capital, a reminder of how war divides us.
