As the fourth largest island in the world, Madagascar has plenty of space for endemic species to roam. In fact, 80 percent of the more than 200,000 species discovered there can be found nowhere else in the world. Perched in the Indian Ocean off the southeastern coast, you won't find many of Africa's famed animals, but you will find boa constrictors, lemurs, tenrecs, iguanas, and many more.
