After scoring 1590 out of 1600 on his SATs, Gates enrolled in Harvard in 1973, only to drop out 2 years later. It was at Harvard that he met fellow student Steve Ballmer, who ended up graduating Harvard magna cum laude. Ballmer would eventually follow Gates as CEO of Microsoft, and stay in that position for 14 years.
