Long known to have rust issues, I can't say I'm surprised to see this abandoned model looking a bit worse for wear. Given that this model is meant for off-roading and four-wheeling, it's only appropriate to see it worn out.

This is an old-school Jeep CJ, short for "civilian Jeep" and contrasted with the MB military Jeeps.
