While a resume or C.V. may help you ensure you're marrying the right person, to obtain your marriage license, all you'll need is a photo ID (passport or driver's license), birth certificate, and proof of citizenship and/or residence. And if you're widowed or divorced, you'll need a death certificate or decree of divorce.
