LaKeith Stanfield stars in this darkly comedic film about young black man who puts on a "white voice" to succeed at his telemarketing job.

Filmed on location in his hometown of Oakland, California, director Boots Riley based some of the story on his own experience of working as a telemarketer and feeling the pressure to pretend to be someone else.
