Known for windmills as well as coffee houses and canals in its most visited city, Amsterdam. This European country’s flag is based on the royal family’s coat of arms. Although called the House of Orange there is no color orange in the design. Which country is it?

Answer Netherlands

The flag of the Netherlands was adopted in what is essentially its current form in 1575, making it probably the oldest tricolor flag in continuous use. Its style and colors also inspired the flags of Russia and France. Though it doesn't have any orange in it now, the red stripe was orange for a number of years.
