With a penchant for headline-grabbing tweets, what tech founder joyfully announced the birth of his son in 2020, whom he and his partner named "X Æ A-12"?

Answer Elon Musk

The Tesla CEO/SpaceX founder may have outdone himself in the eccentricity department with the name he and partner, musician Grimes, chose for their little bundle of joy. They hit a little hiccup, however, when it turned out that "X Æ A-12" is not a valid name under California law, which only permits modern English alphabet characters. So the couple went back to the drawing board and soon shared the brand new name: "X Æ A-Xii". Wouldn't you know it, though? Turns out Æ is not a modern English letter either! Finally, they compromised with a good old-fashioned American name: "X AE A-XII".
