Jesus told his hometown he was the fulfillment of the Messiah and his people tried to throw him off a cliff. Where was Jesus' hometown?

Bethlehem was Jesus' birthplace but his hometown, where he grew up, was Nazareth, in the mountains west of Galilee. It was hard for them to see him as anything but Joseph's son. (Philadelphia was a city mentioned in the Bible.)
