Fearing the 10th plague, the Egyptians begin to respect the Israelites, so God tells his people to ask the Egyptians for something before leaving. For what does God tell the Israelites to ask?
Answer Gold and silver
After nine horrendous plagues, the Egyptians were finally ready to let the Israelites out of Egypt. The people did something that Pharaoh would not - they respected the Israelites. When God tells his people to ask the Egyptians for their gold and silver, it wasn't a hold up, but an expression of gratitude that the Jews were leaving and to their God who proved himself mighty.
