It's hard to imagine the classic series with any other name but Happy Days. However, when they first pitched the show, what did the creators want to call it?

Because focus groups said the name Cool made them think of cigarettes, the network balked at the name. One of the producers suggested: "“How about calling it Happy Days? That’s what we’re going to show.” The name stuck, and the rest is TV history.
