The Qing's started out in a kingly fashion, as the dynasty was prosperous when it began in 1644. But toward the end in 1912, things went sour. The Qing Dynasty fell to the revolutionary Sun Zhongshan who wrote a manifesto – "Three Principles of the People" – and created the organization, the Revive China Society. And this was just the beginning.
