Who knew there was a Cavalcade going on up north in Toronto? The holiday season blasts off with the annual Cavalcade of Lights, the first of which began in 1967. Fireworks, ice skating, and the illumination of the Christmas tree occur in the city square, and the lights stay up until the New Year.
